Our Club Story
Renzo Gracie PEI was originally Lot 36 BJJ and began with kids classes at a local school for our children and their peers. The program grew, and in 2019 we decided to build a building on our property at our home in Fort Augustus. We then added adult BJJ classes, striking and MMA. In 2021 we affiliated with long time friends and coaches, Peter Martell and Kevin Taylor of Renzo Gracie Halifax and became Renzo Gracie PEI. We continued to grow, and had to move on again, to our new gym home at 119 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
Family Orientated
We believe martial arts is for everyone and should be fun and interactive. On our mats the newest member is just as important as the most successful competitor. Everyone adds to the atmosphere of our academy in a positive way. If you put the time and the work in, everyone wins.

We have a common goal to make each other better. The room is welcoming for the newest beginner or the most seasoned veteran. We welcome all ages and skill levels. Our academy is a warm family atmosphere for the competitive athlete or the recreational hobbiest. We have a wealth of depth and experience that we look forward to sharing with you all.
